That's exactly why it would matter. Even if you thought... dying was what had to be done, [ and as terrible as stuff like that is, Kohan has definitely dealt with situations where death was the only real way to solve the problem at hand ] would death stop what you want it to stop here? You'll just come back again, but you'd lose... something. And it probably wouldn't even be what you wanted to lose.
